What is Schema Markup?
Schema markup (structured data) is code that you put on your website to help search engines understand your content better. It uses the schema.org vocabulary in JSON-LD format. When search engines understand your content, they can display rich results (rich snippets) such as star ratings, FAQs, recipe cards, and event details directly in search results.
How to Use Schema Markup
- Select the schema type that matches your content
- Fill in the relevant fields
- Copy the generated JSON-LD script tag
- Paste it into the <head> section of your HTML page
- Test with Google's Rich Results Test tool
