Understanding Readability Scores
Readability formulas estimate how easy or difficult a piece of text is to read. They analyze factors like sentence length, word complexity, and syllable count to produce grade-level estimates. Most web content should target a Flesch Reading Ease of 60-70 (roughly 8th-9th grade level) for maximum audience reach.
