About Hearing Frequency Range
Humans typically hear frequencies between 20Hz and 20,000Hz. As we age, we naturally lose the ability to hear higher frequencies. Most people over 25 cannot hear above 15,000Hz. This test checks frequencies from 125Hz to 16,000Hz using pure tones.
