Understanding Growth Percentiles
Growth percentiles show how your child compares to other children of the same age and gender. The 50th percentile is the median. Being at the 75th percentile means your child is larger than 75% of children the same age. Consistent growth along any percentile line is generally more important than the specific percentile.
